North Woodstock, NH – Last Sunday the Winston Modified Tour opened their season at the White Mountain Motorsports Park. Mitch Bombard was a force out of the gate! Scoring the season’s first Pomfret Wine & Spirits Pole Award which was his first career pole in the series. The race would get off to a slow start with Jim Windrow having an ill handling car and spinning out a few times. Then the laps would start to click off. Chad Barcomb would lead a race high 56 laps. It would be Mitch Bombard holding off a hard charging Brendan Spatafora to seal his first career Winston Modified Tour victory.
