Concord, VT – Last night the Canadian Outlaw Late Model Series made it’s way to Cayuga Speedway. The qualifying order was set from last weeks points which gave Zac Black the pole position. The 50 lap sprint was off to a fast start. Danny Savary was able to work his way to the front from seventh place starting position quickly and gain the lead. Danny would lead 45 of the 50 laps and go on to take his first win of the season. Dave Melson and Jim Windrow would finish on the podium. Next week the Canadian Outlaw Late Model Series will be at Thompson Speedway. Next up was the Garden State Mini Stock Series. They made the trip to Los Angeles to the Coliseum. This 15 lap feature event setup on a 1.78 mile motocross configuration inside and outside of the Coliseum. There would be a jackpot start with Jay Neels taking the pole position. The race was an exciting one for fans and drivers. There were multiple flipping cars, dirt and dust were flying everywhere. The excitement really started to come with 5 laps to go as Jim Windrow made his final push. With the luck of the leaders having some trouble Windrow was able to go from 6th place and 20 seconds behind the leader to taking the lead on the final turn before the entrance back into the Coliseum. Jumping over the finish line for his first victory of the season! Next week the Mini Stock Series will be at Thompson Speedway with the Late Models!
