Hill wins Late Models & Melson wins Mini Stocks

STR SimRacing Logo 2STR SimRacing News – Last night the Tuesday Night Late Model Series kicked off their season at Bristol Motor Speedway for a 50 lap event. Passing would be at a premium as we saw many dive bombs into the turns. Drivers were making their cars stick and were hooked up. After a few intense battles it would be Fred Hill coming out on top to take the first win of the season. Next up would be the Mini Stocks, their race was held in Raleigh North Carolina on a figure eight track. This race would feature 12 cars for 50 laps. Jim Windrow had a commanding lead throughout the entire race until he would get caught up with Danny Savary at the intersection and go flying. This would hand the lead over to Dave Melson who would go on to victory!! Be sure to check out both series next Tuesday night as they will be back in action with the Late Models at Cayuga Speedway and the Mini Stocks at L.A Coliseum! We hope to see you there!
