Toledo, OH – The Michigan Racing Series would make their way to Toledo Speedway for a Twin 50 Lap feature event on Sunday night! In race #1 it would be Bobby Ambroceo taking down the victory after a hard fought battle with Danny Savary that ended up with Savary getting a tap from behind and moved out of the one groove racing surface. Savary would make contact with the outside retaining wall and spin to the infield. Jim Windrow was able to finish 2nd while Ricky LaDuke would finish 3rd. In race #2 it would be Bill Kring and Bobby Ambroceo showing much of the way throughout the race. A late race caution would setup some pit strategy. Everyone came in for tires except for Jim Windrow who elected to stay out. Ambroceo was the first off pit road who only took 2 tires while everyone else took 4. On the ensuing restart with 8 laps to go. Bill Kring would get into the back of Windrow sending him around and collecting Bobby Ambroceo. Ricky LaDuke would take over the lead and hold off Danny Savary on one final restart. The Michigan Racing Series will be off for Memorial Day Weekend and will return to action on June 5th at Dells Raceway Park for the Weaver Auto Parts 100!! We hope to see you then!
